Hey! Well it's been a while, and I checked the stats. For some odd reason people are still looking at this mockery of a site. So I figured I'd put something in here for you all to look at that's a little fresher. But seriously though, you need to stop looking at Xanga's. There's a whole world out there waiting for you.
I guess I could start blubbing to the Christians for this one for a bit. Don't critique this too harshly cause I don't writing real good. <- That was a bad joke which contains truth. Anyhow, this is mostly from a book I've been reading called "The Disconnected Generation" by Josh McDowell. I'll give you some main points from the book so far.
The book is targeting the relationships parents/youth workers have and should have with youth today. It starts with some interesting science stuff. From age 12/13 to the early 20's, a young person's brain is formed into the person they will be. These patterns aren't set in stone, but are considered the most shaping years of a life. The reason is because of synapses in the brain. When a youngster hits 12/13, the brain prunes synapses (connections)in the brain at a rate of 1000's per second. Only the connections that are reinforced, or used, are kept. The others are lost. The brain responds to experience. The experience formed brain is the reason we need to give positive experiences to a youngster's life. The brain will keep more and be more active. Most of this should come from social relationships. This makes our role to children significant and supports a specific verse in the Bible.
Prov. 22:6 says "Train up a child in the way he should go, even when he is old he will not depart from it." Often this verse is interpreted to mean we should train children firmly. Josh explains a different meaning. He says the original language would speak in this metaphor: The child is a bow, and we are the archers. In the olden days, bows were not factory accurate; all had flaws and an archer had to adjust to the bow to make it shoot strait. In the same way we are not supposed to shape children's personalities, but support and accept them for the people they are. We should encourage them to be who they were meant to be in the process of training them up. We need to make guidelines and not let children leave those boundaries, but we must also understand that children mess up. It's their job. There's a lot more. But it's good stuff. Read the book if you are interested in being a parent, working with youth, or want to understand people more. I've learned so much about what people need and the why's of things. Also, you sociology/physcology people should def. read this. Biblically supported working explanations of relationships of youth and even adults. Thumbs up!

The more I read some of these journals the more depressed I get. Doesn't anyone feel slightly saddened by the fact that our generation gets so hyped up on emotions and gets so down that they tell the world? I am upset. Naw, I understand there are problems, and I love talking with people and being there for them, but if we take a look at the bigger picture, our problems kind of pale.
Just think of where you live. Probably a home. Boxes are cool too. But now compare that to other countries - like nmexico. We all suck because we complain. We have social problems - yeah, but we have food too. This xangian "tell how much my life sucks" thing is just another symptom of what I call a lack of purpose.
I know I may have been offensive in past entries as a joke, but this one will be more offensive as it is the truth. Every one of you has a purpose. Let me ask you three simple questions. You answer them in your head. Who are you? Why are you here? Where are you going. From past experience, I know that the best most of you can offer is a guess to any of those questions. You may have answered with a guess done without research. You may not have answered at all. You may be upset because I'm trying to "tell you lies." Whatever the case.
I was in that guessing positon 5 years ago. I thought about it every day. And without any outside help, I concluded that when I die, that's the end and everything is just black and nothingness. That made me feel comfortable. I could continue living the way I wanted to and whatever happened didn't matter. Well that didn't work. You see, when the tough times come, an escape to nothingness seems pretty nice. However, a hot young female persuaded me to go to a youth group thing. I went and what I heard was different. The way I was living contradicted what I was being told. BEING A MAN IN SEARCH OF TRUTH, I decided that I either had to disprove this christian theory, or live by it and I was not about to live by it. I wanted my sex, drugs, and whatever.
So I listened to what was said. I weighed everything. I checked the scriptures. I read books. I researched. I wanted to find the flaws in this crappy religion. But I found some facts that turned me around. After years of trying to prove the Bible wrong, I had to conclude that it is the most accurate historical document from the old school. Not even the documents of Caesar could hold water compared to the Bible.
And so, being a man in search of the truth and finding Him (Truth is defined as Jesus Christ), I had to turn my life over to him. I have been rechecking that commitment and making sure I didn't mess up, but I have found after all this research, that to believe in anything but the accuracy of the Bible is even more absurd than to believe in its supernatural answers. And with that, let me say that through Christ, those 3 questions, and tons of others are answered. If you want to know who you are, why you are here, and where you are going, look to Jesus. I do not ask you to convert. I will not ask you to believe right now. But I would encourage you to do your own research. Not just the oppinion you have now based on some flimsy evidence, but really research the accuracy of the Bible in an unbiased fassion. These questions...they are worth the time because eternity is forever. Don't let your eternity be based on some quess that you assume is correct. I didn't.
I know you may have some questions. Or some disagreements. My aim is "airgizmo". Talk to me anytime.  If you're not comfortable with that, then start looking into the Bible for yourself.  Ask a zillion questions like I did.  It is worthy of you're time.

Would you rather...
1. Eat my socks?
2. Drink 2 gallons of milk, then 2 gallons of orange juice in less than 25 minutes?
3. Swim in a pool of urine?
4. Wash your hair with super glue?
5. Wash my hair with super glue?

Ok, so get those answers in soon ok.

Hey you people,

Ya know, I've been thinking about some stuff lately.  Let me share with you some of these thoughts.  Xanga sucks.  Anyhow, I was walking the other day.  I stepped in some deep mud and my shoe came off.  I tried to pick up my shoe, but my shoe wouldn't move.  I had to leave my shoe there so I lost my shoe.

Ok, now for a joke.

So Jesus, Moses, and Noah are playing golf.  Jesus hits the ball and says "I am the way the truth and the light.  Noone come to the father except through me."

Allright, e-mail me with questions:  monkiboy1713@comcast.net
